BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS GETS INJURED ON THE SHOOTING SPOT

B-Town actress Prachi Desai gets injured on the sets of Kosha. The Rock On 2 fame actress was shooting for her upcoming film Kosha in one of the sets in Mumbai, and the scene demanded the actress to jump over with supporting ropes from a two-storey building and she had to land on the ground and chase a car. The actress convinced the director that she would be doing the stunt by herself and while doing the stunt, the actress fell to the ground and suffered severe injuries. Prachi Desai was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was given first aid and reports say that the actress will be on bed rest for next two days post which she will be back again to the sets of Kosha to finish her last schedule of the film.

CONGRESS :MODI GOVERNMENT CRIPPLING ANTI-CORRUPTION LAWS

The Congress on Thursday accused the Centre of systematically crippling anti-corruption legislations enacted by the previous UPA government and of hypocrisy, saying it had not fulfilled promise on fast-tracking cases involving BJP MPs. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi told the media here that the Whistle Blowers Protection Act and Prevention of Corruption Act had been weakened and the Right to Information Act eroded under the present National Democratic Alliance government. Party spokesperson Rajeev Gowda said the party had come up with a White Paper on what he said was "systematic weakening of anti-corruption laws".  The Congress leaders accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of hypocrisy and said there was a mismatch between his actions and words. OIL PRICES FALL ON OPEC COMPLIANCE CONCERNS

Oil prices fell on Monday as investors were concerned that major oil exporters' output cut deal may not be effective enough.The West Texas Intermediate for September Delivery lost $0.19 to settle at $49.39 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for October delivery erased $0.05 to close at $52.37 a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.

ALLU ARJUN'S 'NAA PERU SURYA' GOES ON FLOORS

 Actor Allu Arjun's upcoming Telugu actioner "Naa Peru Surya", in which he plays a military officer, started rolling from Wednesday.According to a source from the film's unit, the principal shooting began here.The film marks the first-time collaboration of Arjun and Vakkantham Vamsi, who is making his directorial debut.Vamsi is known for his writing contribution to hit Telugu projects such as "Kick" and "Temper".Arjun is currently undergoing month-long training with a US-based trainer to authentically look and play a military officer."He will work closely with a trainer to achieve the desired body for the role.
