The trial for Bollywood actress Jiah Khan's suicide case was supposed to begin on 21 February. However, the hearing did not take place as Judge KD Shirbhate was on leave, reports DNA. Sooraj Pancholi, who is charged of abetment, was also present at the court with his lawyer Prashant Patil.Representing Rabya Khan, Jiah's mother, lawyer Swapnil Ambure marked his presence along with the public prosecutor and a CBI official. The report states that the prosecution was asked to submit a list of witnesses so that they could be summoned in court. However, Patil said that the list couldn't be submitted due the absence of the judge. He told the publication that the next hearing has been posted for 28 February.

A source close to the Pancholis has also revealed to DNA that they want Rabya to be physically present in all the hearings. They reportedly feel that she should be there to prove the allegations that she has levied against Sooraj. The Pancholis are planning to file an application demanding Rabya step into the witness box to prove the charges.To this, Rabya has responded by saying that her lawyer is representing her in the court and she will show up if the court asks her to. She says that she has filed all the necessary documents to strengthen her case against Sooraj, including call logs, messages and Jiah's pictures, clicked after she was declared dead.

The Reliance Aerostructure proposal for the development of the Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace Park with related infrastructure facilities and services at Mihan SEZ (Nagpur) got the approval of Board of Approval (BoA) for special economic zone (SEZ) under the Ministry of Commerce, an official statement said here on Monday. "With the BoA nod, the Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace Park (DAAP) at Mihan, spread over 289 acres, will become the largest greenfield aerospace park in the country. In the first phase, development will be spread over 104 acres and the second phase will cover an additional area of 185 acres," the statement said. INFOSYS NAMES TVS CAPITAL EXECUTIVE AS DIRECTOR

Infosys Ltd appointed TVS Capital Funds Ltd Vice-Chairman D. Sundaram as an independent director on its board, the software major announced on Saturday."Sundaram is appointed as independent director with effect from July 14 on the recommendation of the company's nomination and remuneration committee of the board," said the IT giant in a statement here after a regulatory filing on the BSE. Google delays white Pixel 2 orders by a month

Google has delayed the delivery of some of its newly-launched white Pixel 2 devices by up to a month as it is having a hard time keeping the smartphone in stock."Some people who ordered a white Pixel 2 and received an estimated ship date of late October are receiving emails saying their order has been delayed by up to a month," a report in The Verge said late Monday.To make up for the delay, Google is now offering these customers a free Live Case, which normally sell for $40.Based on Reddit reports, the issue is limited to the 64GB model of the white Pixel 2 thatA -- along with nearly every other model -- remained out of stock or on a multi-week delay from Google's online store.In India, Pixel 2 is priced at Rs 61,000 for the 64GB variant.The pre-orders commence from October 26.
